No existen planes de ofrecer soporte para tarjetas PCMCIA-GPIB bajo Linux. Esto tomaría algo de esfuerzo, dado que no existe código base para PCMCIA para el controlador de GPIB bajo UNIX; Linux es el primer sistema operativo similar a UNIX que soporta el bus PCMCIA.
