发射极耦合逻辑(ECL),有时也叫做电流模式逻辑(Current Mode Logic),是一种极高速数字技术。ECL的传递时间是0.5 - 2 ns,这比TTL要快很多,同时功耗也要比TTL高3到10倍。

ECL的输出逻辑和TTL类似,用到的都是逻辑低到逻辑高。尽管如此,ECL和TTL的这些状态的电压值不一样。

ECL输出逻辑变换是由-1.75 V的逻辑低到-0.9V的逻辑低。下面的表格说明了在正逻辑下的逻辑"0"和"1"。
