It is impossible to compile an FPGA VI on a computer running the Windows 8 Operating System. This is because the Xilinx Compiler does not support Windows 8. This also affects all LabVIEW FPGA Toolkits, including LabVIEW FPGA Module IP Builder and the LabVIEW FPGA Module Compile Farm Toolkit.

目前沒有辦法能在Windows 8的作業系統上進行FPGA VI的編譯，這是因為Xilinx的編譯器並不支援Windows 8，這也影響所有的LabVIEW FPGA工具，包含了LabVIEW FPGA Module IP Builder 以及 LabVIEW FPGA Module Compile Farm 工具。

Follow the instructions in Getting Started with the LabVIEW FPGA Compile Farm Toolkit to be able to compile FPGA VIs on a remote computer. If you are not able to connect to the cloud or a remote computer, you can virtualize previous Windows OS versions or Linux on your development machine and use the remote compile option to offload the FPGA compilation to that virtual OS.
