Do More with LabVIEW 2009

In light of the worldwide economic crisis, new growth opportunities are emerging in the medical research and device development, infrastructure upgrades, and environmental monitoring areas. Science and technology are proving to be resilience against the current economic downturn and these two important fields can help to stimulate the economy by initiating real growth and recovery. That being said, engineers and scientists are now mounted with greater pressure to accomplish more with fewer resources and they need to rethink priorities in order to move quickly toward new opportunities.

Introducing the latest, most versatile and powerful software from National Instruments, LabVIEW 2009 is designed to enhance the productivity of both new and long-time users. You can now take advantage of the new features inherent in LabVIEW 2009 to drive faster and more efficient innovation within the engineering community.

From 2009 onwards, National Instruments will also be adopting an annual release strategy with LabVIEW, in order to add new features more quickly to evolve the platform and improve the upgrade process for users. By releasing a new version of LabVIEW each year, NI is solidifying the scope, stability, and schedule of each new release. In addition to riding the cutting edge of parallel programming, wireless technologies, and real-time math, LabVIEW 2009 includes a heavy dose of new features and improvements designed specifically for LabVIEW users.

New Features in LabVIEW 2009

NI LabVIEW 2009 is a platform-wide software update with new features for taking advantage of parallel multicore and field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based architectures as well as new embedded capabilities for programming wireless sensors and mathematical algorithms in real-time hardware. The latest version of LabVIEW 2009 adds programming and productivity features to drive more efficiency and performance into your applications, helping you do more with evolving PC and embedded technology platforms.

Now, you can have the ability to create code from VI Snippet images, globally manage probes, visualize data on new 3D graphs, parallelize individual iterations of for loops, reduce memory usage with data value references, and do so much more.

Who Should Attend?

From acquiring data with measurement hardware to deploying an embedded design to automating a production test system, LabVIEW provides a rapid and cost-effective solution in diverse application fields.
