| 1. | What does NIDays stand for? |
 | NI stands for National Instruments, and NIDays is an annual worldwide virtual instrumentation conference whereby engineers and researchers come together to share and learn about the latest technologies and trends in measurement, test, control and design. |
| 2. | Why do we need to pay for NIDays? |
 | The objective of this conference is to bring together people in the industry to share and learn technologies. For the past few years, NI has been actively improving this event in order to bring to you the most beneficial experience.
This nominal fee received helps us to bring in more distinguished and established speakers and exhibitors from both local and overseas to value-add to the conference. In addition, more sophisticated demos and applications will be available to benefit participants. |

An email confirmation will be sent to you after you have registered and full payment had been received. |
| 4. | If I choose to pay by cash instead of credit card or cheque, where can I make the payment? |
 | You can make payment at the designated offices before the respective closing dates. Please call the respective registration telephone numbers for the different cities to find out more.
Paying in advance allows you to have a faster entry to the conference in a separate queue.
Should you be the first 50 conference delegates who registered and paid in full, you will be eligible for the early bird draw. |
| 5. | Where can I retrieve the NIDays 2008 agenda? |
 | You may go to www.ni.com/asean/nidays to download the conference agenda for the respective city. |
| 6. | What is the difference between the 2 or 3 tracks (Main Track; Application Track & Hands-On)? |
 | Other than discussing about the general trends in the industry in the opening keynote and closing note, the main track focuses on the latest technologies and products from NI.
The Application tracks are presented by users of NI products to show how they use NI products to meet their challenges and increase their productivity i.e. reduce test development time and reduce costs.
The 45min Hands-On track gives you the opportunity to test-drive our products. Our instructor will guide you through a series of exercises to show you how to create and edit simple programs. |
| 7. | How do I register/book my seat for Hands-On session? |
 | Go to Hands-On Booking Counter and get a ticket for the session you wish to attend.
Tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis and we limit each session to a maximum of 16 participants, with 2 persons sharing 1 laptop/desktop. |
| 8. | I want to attend all the tracks! |
 | Unfortunately, all the tracks are conducted concurrently (i.e. at the same time). The Conference Proceedings CD that you will be given will provide you the slides of the sessions that you have missed. |
