This demo will show you how NI Smart Camera, together with the NI CompactRIO and NI CVS system, inspects bottles for label location.
By using high-quality Sony charge-coupled device (CCD) and LabVIEW, see how this all-in-one vision system transmits inspection results instead of raw images.
In this demo, you will find out how to make use of NI Compact FieldPoint System to do process control.
With its analog and digital input/outputs, the PID compares the input value to its setpoint value and makes the appropriate adjustment.
View the "Remote Controlled RF Blimp" to learn how you can control a blimp using National Instruments (NI) RF hardware. The setup includes a user carrier of 48MHz and a vector signal generator. RF signals are generated using the vector signal generator and the blimp is controlled based on user input from the joystick.

Fuzzy Logic and Robotic Control with NI Compact-RIO

In this video, we have created a robot which parks itself using NI Compact RIO and the Fuzzy Logic Toolkit. Programmed in LabVIEW, the Fuzzy Logic determines the direction of movement and the angle of turn of the robot. This fuzzy logic is then downloaded to run embedded inside NI Compact RIO Real Time controller Module. Using NI cRIO-9505 Full H-Bridge Brushed DC Servo Drive Module to power the motors, the robot parks itself. See News.

Graphical System Design (GSD) : Designing, Prototyping & Deploying with a printer

Using a printer, we identify dynamic system models directly from real-word stimulus and response signals. The plant and control models are reconstructed to simulate the printer’s dynamic system. Finally, this is deployed into NI real-time FPGA hardware. The result is a fully functional printer designed, prototyped and controlled using NI Hardware and Software.

View the world's first PCI Express frame grabber, the NI PCIe-1429, as it records a glitter balloon exploding at 1000 frames/s.
With the NI PCIe-1429, engineers and scientists can acquire images at the highest speeds, resolutions and bit depths available for Camera Link cameras to perform demanding imaging applications such as synchronized data and image acquisition, fault analysis and advanced motion tracking. |
