RF & Communications - Software Engineers/Software Technical Leads
National Instruments is looking for highly motivated engineers interested in RF/Communications algorithms software development. These algorithms are used as fundamental building blocks in design, prototyping and test applications in the area of RF and wireless applications using National Instruments modular instrumentation. Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing algorithms and software applications in LabVIEW for RF and wireless communication algorithms
- Interaction with customers to understand use-cases and requirements
- Researching and implementing new standards in the area of wireless communications such as WCDMA, WiMAX, 802.11n and Digital Video Broadcast
Qualifications:
- B.E./B-Tech/M.Tech/M.S in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- 2+ years of professional experience in communication system design desired
- Strong skills in RF/Communications/Digital Signal Processing concepts such as OFDM, CDMA, modulation/demodulation schemes, channel coding/decoding, receiver design, equalization etc.
- Extensive Course work in the area of communications and signal processing
- Knowledge of filter design and digital signal processing concepts required
- Experience using LabVIEW is a plus
- Knowledge of fixed-point algorithm design is a plus
- Effective communication skills
