National Instruments Announces the Embedded Virtualization Webcast Series



Webcasts to Provide Practical Information on Virtualization for Engineers, Scientists and Embedded Designers



NEWS RELEASE – Dec. 7, 2009 – National Instruments today announced the Embedded Virtualization Webcast Series, a live, joint webcast series from NI and Intel that focuses on virtualization technology from introductory information and business benefits, to key underlying technologies and implementation details. By viewing this free webcast series, engineers, scientists and embedded designers can gain important information needed to understand virtualization, select a software solution and implement that solution quickly.

The webcast series consists of four sessions, beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at noon and 12:30 p.m. Central Standard Time with sessions following Wednesday, Dec. 9, and Thursday, Dec. 10, at noon Central Standard Time. The sessions cover the business case for embedded virtualization, choosing embedded virtualization software, understanding how Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel-VT) makes virtualization possible and configuring and using a virtualized system.
