NI-DAQmx Base, version 1.5 for Linux

The NI-DAQmx Base 1.5 software contains LabVIEW and C Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) which allows you to create applications for your device which will run on Linux. NI-DAQmx Base includes the following features:

• A high-level interface for DAQ Devices on Linux
• A subset of the NI-DAQmx API

NI-DAQmx Base 1.5 supports NI 6508/DIO-96, PCI/PXI E Series, PCI/PXI B Series, PCI/PXI 671x/673x, S Series (AI only), USB-92xx, USB-6008, USB-6009 and USB-6501 devices on Linux. The LabVIEW VIs work with LabVIEW 7.x.

Installation Instructions:

1. Copy daqmxbase-1.5.0-f2.iso to your hard drive.
2. Either mount the iso image or burn the image to a CDROM and mount the CDROM.
3. To launch the NI-DAQmx Base installer, run the INSTALL script as root from the mount location.
