Problem: I just upgraded to a newer version of LabVIEW. Can I use Vision Development Module with a newer version of LabVIEW? Solution: The Vision Development Module (VDM) will not install support for a version of LabVIEW that is newer than the version of VDM, e.g., VDM 8.0 will not install support for LabVIEW 8.20. If you would like to use VDM with the new version of LabVIEW you will need to upgrade to at least that version of the Vision Development Module. In some cases, such as upgrading from VDM 8.0 to VDM 8.20 after upgrading to LabVIEW 8.20, the upgrade is available for free to anyone who has a licensed copy of the older version of Vision. The part number for the upgrade from VDM 8.0 to VDM 8.20 is 850859M-93. However, if you have a version earlier than 8.0, the upgrade is not free. To purchase or upgrade, please call your local sales representative with the serial number of your Vision Development Module copy if you have one.
