Determining Firmware Revision of FieldPoint Modules using FieldPoint Explorer 3.0.2

Hardware: FieldPoint>>Controllers/Network Modules>>FP-1000

Problem: How can I determine the firmware revision of my FieldPoint modules?

Solution: The following instructions apply to versions of FieldPoint 3.0.2 and earlier.

Use the FieldPoint Explorer by typing "Revision" as the device name for the network module in the Device Configuration window. (To reach this window, right click on the device, such as FP-1000 @0, and select Edit this device...) When you do so, the revision number is displayed in the top right corner of this window.

Note that the Thermocouple FP-TC-120 module needs a network module with firmware revision of 14 or greater. For the latest revision, and a utility to burn the firmware, visit the Related Links below.

Also, network modules of revision "C" or greater are shipped with a firmware revision of 14 or greater. The revision letter of the network module is printed on the bottom of the module; it is the letter in the part number. For example, a revision "C" of the FP-1000 has part number 184120C-01, while a revision "B" has part number 184120B-01.
