How do I reset the password for my CompactRIO?

Hardware: CompactRIO>>Controllers

Problem:
I locked the IP configuration on my CompactRIO in Measurement & Automation Explorer and forgot the password.  How do I reset it?

Solution:
Follow these steps to clear the password on the CompactRIO:

1. Set the IP RESET switch to ON
2. Reboot the controller
3. Set the switch to OFF

The password will be removed.  The IP configuration will need to be reconfigured.
