How do I Fix the "Package Load Failure" Error I Get After Upgrading Measurement Studio?

Problem:
I just upgraded Measurement Studio and now when I try to launch Microsoft Visual Studio, I get an error message:
Package Load Failure



Solution:
This error message indicates that some problem occurred during the Measurement Studio installation and that not all of the components were installed properly. This can occur due to a variety of reasons and is easily fixed by repairing the installation.

To repair your installation of Measurement Studio:

  1. Open the Add or Remove Programs dialog from Control Panel
  2. From the list of installed software, highlight National Instruments Software and click Change/Remove
  3. This will open up a dialog listing all of the National Instruments software that you have installed.
  4. From this list, pick the version of Measurement Studio that you installed and click Repair

This will check your installation for components that were not installed properly and fix them.
