Problem: I am trying to run a National Instruments Installer, but I see the following error: ![]() Why does this error occur, and how can I fix it? Solution: Some National Instruments installers require the existence of a 'My Documents' and/or a 'My Pictures' folders. If these folders do not exist the installation will fail. This error can also happen if your 'My Documents' or 'My Pictures' folders are on a network location which is not accessible at installer runtime. You can fix the issue by assigning the 'My Documents' or 'My Pictures' folders. This can be done in one of two ways:
