Why Is The Calibration of My 784x or 785x R Series Device Not Being Saved?

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-RIO
Primary Software Version: 2.4
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Hardware: Reconfigurable I/O (RIO)>>R Series

Problem:
When using the NI 78xxR Calibration Utility to calibrate my 784x or 785x R Series device, the calibration does not seem to work. Why is this?

Solution:
If your 784x or 785x device is calibrated without saving to flash or by using the Calibrate Only option, then the calibration will be overwritten as soon as the FPGA bitfile is downloaded. This is because the 784x and the 785x devices reload their calibration from flash every time a new personality is downloaded to the FPGA. To avoid this issue, choose the Save to Flash option when calibrating your 784x or 785x device, as shown below.
