Problem: When I try to activate my National Instruments software, I receive the error message "Requested Operation Requires Write Access to Licensing Directory". How do I resolve this? Solution: Your current user account does not have write privileges to the licenses folder, located in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\License Manager\Licenses. This folder could potentially be located on another drive if NI software was previously installed there.
Check the permissions of the National Instruments folder and ensure that the current user account has Full Control.
