Lookout 6 Activation Code Has Incorrect Length Primary Software: LookoutPrimary Software Version: 6.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I recently purchased Lookout 6.0 and went to www.ni.com/keycode to register it. The email I received included a 16-character keycode, but the NI Activation Wizard is expecting a 20-character activation code. Why did this happen, and how do I register Lookout 6.0? Solution: Lookout versions 6.0 and up no longer use keycodes for product registration. Lookout versions 6.0 and up now use the NI License Manager as do other National Instruments software products. The 20-character activation code can be obtained a number of ways, including going to www.ni.com/activate.
