HiQ Manuals The best way to start learning HiQ is to work your way through the Getting Results with HiQ manuals. This short manual starts with the basics of HiQ terminology, works through adding graphs and other objects, and then shows how to put it all together in a HiQ Notebook. The chapters of this manual are intended to be worked through in sequential order since it is a training manual. If you do not have the time to work through the entire book at one time, you can pick out particular chapters and use the prebuilt notebooks that ship with HiQ for the exercises. Product Manual: Getting Results with HiQ Manual Once you finish Getting Results with HiQ, you will be ready to start building your own notebooks. Getting Started with HiQ only covers an introduction to HiQ, so if your application needs become more advanced, you should start looking through the HiQ Reference Manual (pdf format only). These two resources cover the complete functionality of HiQ. If you want to read about the functionality of HiQ (ActiveX, object properties, scripting, etc.) the Reference Manual is your best resource because there are specific chapters devoted to each of these topics. Product Manuals: HiQ Reference Manual 2. HiQ Update Files for Mac OS This update replaces your HiQ executable to fix some problems between HiQ 2.2 and MacOS 8.0 (or higher). HiQ Examples If you are looking for an example to help you get started, look in the Examples folder in your HiQ directory on your hard drive. There are over fifty examples that demonstrate the functionality of HiQ.
