Duplicating a DAQmx Task in LabVIEW

Problem: I can't make a copy of my DAQmx tasks in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).  Is there another way to make a copy of a DAQmx task?

Solution:

A simple VI can be written to duplicate a DAQmx task.  The image found below shows the simple VI.  Use the following steps to create the VI.

1.  First, you need to use the DAQmx create task.vi to create a copy of the task with a new name.    The DAQmx create task.vi will require a "task to copy" input and a "new task name" string.

2.  Second, you will need to use a DAQmx Save Task.vi to save the task to MAX.
