Input Modes (RSE & NRSE) When Using 5B Input Modules

Hardware: Signal Conditioning Other>>5B Series

Problem:
When configuring my data acquisition (DAQ) device for use with 5B input modules, which input mode should I use: differential (DIFF), nonreferenced single-ended (NRSE), or referenced single-ended (RSE)?

Solution:
The mode depends on which kind of DAQ device you are using:

MIO and E Series boards (using an NB-9 or SC-2050): NRSE

Lab/1200 Series (using an SC-2053): RSE

PC-LPM-16 and DAQCard-700 (using an SC-2055): RSE
