Using NI-Scope With Traditional NI-DAQ Devices on Vista Causes System Crash on Hibernation

Hardware: Modular Instruments>>High-Speed Digitizers (Scopes), Multifunction DAQ (MIO)

Problem:
The kernel crashes when coming out of hibernation if I am acquiring data on a PXI-5112 or PXI-5102  running when Windows Vista™ was placed into hibernation.


Solution:
This is a known issue with NI-Scope with Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) devices on Windows Vista™.  In order to avoid this issue, please ensure that the system is never set to hibernate or standby when running an acquisition.
