How Can I Use the SCC-SG24 to Apply Excitation to My Piezo Bridge Without Having to Enter a Gage factor? Hardware: SCC>>Modules>>SCC-SG24
Problem: I have a sensor which is built of a piezo bridge. This bridge needs excitation and I could use the SCC-SG24 for it. But when I configure this in a DAQmx task, Global Channel or DAQ assistant (Analog Input->Strain), I have to enter a Gage factor. But since there are no strain gages in my sensor it has no Gage factor. What do I have to enter for the Gage Factor? Solution: In this case it is better to use a different configuration. Instead of strain choose Analog Input->Custom Voltage with Excitation. Now you can configure a bridge with excitation without having to enter a Gage Factor. Related Links: Attachments:
