Why Do I Get Error -1074130425: "Item Does Not Exist in the Collection" When I Try to Run Calibration Executive?

Problem:
Why do I get Error -1074130425: "Item Does Not Exist in the Collection" when I try to run Calibration Executive?

Solution:
If the IVI instrument driver software module is improperly configured this error may appear when trying to run Calibration Executive. The error will be something similar to  Error -1074130425: Item does not exist in the collection, an IVI interface error has occurred.

Follow the steps below to fix this error (these steps are for a PXI-4060 DMM but should be similar for all devices that use IVI drivers):
  1. In Measurement & Automation Explorer, navigate to IVI Drivers » Advanced » Instrument Driver Software Modules » NIDMM
  2. The incorrect information will be located under Published API's in the General Tab. The table below lists the correct configuration information.

    Name Version Type
    IviDmm 3.0 IVI-C
    IviDriver 1.0 IVI-C

  3. Be sure to click on Save IVI Configuration or your updates will not be applied.
