ASAM ODS Checker

Primary Software: DIAdem
Primary Software Version: 10.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: DIAdem

Problem:
Is there a user interface for the official command-line based ASAM ODS Data and Model Checker?

Solution:
The enclosure of this article contains a packed file that includes a Visual Basic Script file and a SUD dialog box.

The script is based on the ASAM ODS Data and Model Checker. You can use the SUD dialog box to execute numerous tests on ATF files and ATF/XML files, to determine whether the files meet the ASAM ODS specifications. After you execute the tests, the results are displayed clearly in the browser.

The first time the script runs, you will be prompted to enter the installation path of your ASAM ODS Data and Model Checker (ClClient.exe). The script saves the path in a configuration file, so the script knows the path the next time the script runs. The dialog box then opens and analyzes the available tests. This might take a few seconds.

Select the file you want to test (*.atfx, *.atf) at the top of the dialog box. The table contains information about the tests you can execute. In the "Activate" column you can select the tests you want to execute. When you have selected at least one test, click "Run Tests" to execute the test. Click "Output" for information about the test. The actual evaluation is in the associated HTML file, which the script displays after the test is complete. This HTML file is located in the same folder as the tested file and has the filename extension ".report.html".

Below the "Run Tests" button there are two buttons that you can use to navigate through the completed tests and run the tests again. Click the "Configure" button to change the location of the file ClClient.exe.

Installation/Operation: To open the dialog box, complete the following steps:
  1. Download and unpack the enclosure and save the VBS file in a folder.
  2. Open the VBS file in the DIAdem SCRIPT editor.
  3. Click Run Script to execute the script.
