Specifying Inputs for the MS Office Report.vi

Primary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits
Primary Software Version: N/A
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Full Development System

Problem:
How can I specify the inputs for the MS Office Report.vi when using a custom Excel template?

Solution:
When an Excel template is created and utilized by the MS Office Report.vi, there are no inputs by default associated with this VI.

The Name Boxes of cells must be changed from their default value in order to produce corresponding inputs in LabVIEW.  Make sure the Excel template is saved with the .xlt extension.

In the Configure MS Office Report window select Custom Report for Excel as the Template and navigate to the .xlt file under Path to Template.  Once the custom template is selected, the VI inputs should automatically populate.
