How Do I Set My VBAI Inspection to Run at Startup On My CVS or Smart Camera?

Problem:
I have created an inspection in Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) and would like to deploy my inspection to a Compact Vision System (CVS) or to a Smart Camera to run at startup. How do I set the inspection to run at startup?

Solution:
To make a VBAI inspection run at startup on a remote target perform the following 3 steps:

1. Target the desired device from the VBAI welcome screen and select Configure Inspection.






2. Navigate to Target»Target Options and select Start Inspection when Launched from the Startup category.




3. Select the inspection you want to run at startup and click OK.

Your inspection is now configured to run whenever you start (power on) your CVS or Smart Camera.
