Why Does my Existing WSN System Become Unstable When I Configure A New System Near It?Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-WSNPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I currently have a WSN system set up consisting of 36 total nodes. I am now trying to deploy a second system nearby, but when doing so it causes the first system to become unstable. What is happening? Solution: When configuring multiple large WSN systems in the same area, there may be nodes that temporarily disconnect from an existing network. This is due to the fact that gateways are only designed to maintain information for 36 nodes. If a node attempts to join a network that is maxed out, this will force the gateway to disconnect an existing node in order to handle the connection request. Once the gateway has denied the connection request, the node will move on to the next channel, allowing the node that was disconnected to reconnect to the network. Once all nodes have joined up on the second network, the network should stabilize. Related Links: NI WSN-9791 Ethernet Gateway Manual Attachments:
