Problem: Does the LabVIEW Development System have to be installed on a machine that calls LabVIEW VIs from SignalExpress in a Run LabVIEW VI step? Solution: No. SignalExpress users calling LabVIEW VIs from can do so with or without the LabVIEW Development System installed on their target machines. As long as the proper steps are followed for saving VIs for distribution, all of the necessary files will be bundled into the llb file, permitting the VI to be called from SignalExpress without a copy of the LabVIEW development software on their target machine. Machines without the LabVIEW development environment will need the LabVIEW Run-Time engine installed. LabVIEW Run-Time versions 7.1 and above are included with the SignalExpress installer.
