Problem: I have downloaded an instrument driver and I would like to have its source code. How can I get this code? Solution: Most IVI and Plug and Play drivers come with the source code. The files in the Plug and Play driver zip file from the Instrument Driver Network include the source code. If you download an IVI driver and the instrument driver page says that the source code is available (as shown below), the source code is installed when you install the driver.
The driver files can be found under the C:\Program Files\IVI directory, and if the source code is available for the instrument, it can be found in the C:\Program Files\IVI\Drivers\[instrument] directory, where [instrument] is the name of the instrument driver.
