I Can Not Get VXI Interrupts To Be Seen by VISA or NI-VXI After Enabling VI_EVENT_VXI_VME_INTR.

Hardware: VXI/VME/MXI>>VXI Controllers>>VXIpc-850

Problem: I can normally open a VISA session to the 850 (slot 0 with LA0) and enable the VXI/VME interrupt event using any combination of methods (queue or handler), and then assert an interrupt from VIC using the default controller, and then I can see the interrupt in the handler window or I can wait on the event. With some 850s I cannot do this.

Solution:
1. Open the Device Manager in Windows 95.
2. Remove the NCR SCSI controller and close Device Manager.
3. Open ADD NEW HARDWARE in the Control Panel.
4. When Prompted if Windows 95 should search for new hardware select No.
5. Select SCSI Controllers.
6. Select Have Disk.
7. Select Browse and goto c:\images\vxi8x7x\scsi\win95 directory and select symc8xx.inf
8. Select Symbios Logic 8100S PCI SCSI Adapter and finish installation.
9. Reboot Machine.

If you are not using SCSI, you can simply disable SCSI in the BIOS to work around this problem.

The SCSI driver will be updated May 1st,1998. A copy of that driver is attached below.
