Problem: PXI-819x series controllers will not boot after LabVIEW DSC is installed Solution: The PXI-819x series of controllers is not compatible with the NI Keyboard driver that comes with LabVIEW DSC and Lookout. In most versions of the DSC module this driver is not installed by default, but in LabVIEW DSC 7.x this driver is installed by default. If this driver is installed on a PXI-819x series controller Windows will hang during shutdown and startup. If you have already installed the driver you must start Windows in safe-mode in order to uninstall the driver. After booting to Windows safe-mode use Add/Remove programs to uninstall the NI Keyboard driver. This will allow Windows to start up and shutdown properly. Related Links: Attachments:
