NI Requirements Gateway is Slow for Large LabVIEW or CVI Projects

Problem:
NI Requirements Gateway(NIRG) appears to hang when processing a document that contains 400 or more VIs, sequence files, or LabWindows/CVI files. Why does this happen? Can it be fixed?

Solution:
The reason that NIRG is taking a long time is because an inefficient algorithm was used that causes very long processing times in Requirements Gateway 1.0. This issue can be fixed with a patch. The patch is listed below in the Attachments.

To install the patch, copy all .brc files to the <Requirements Gateway 1.0>\config\otscript directory.

Note: If you repair the system, the NIRG installer may revert to the original unpatched files. You will need to install the patch again.
