LabWindows/CVI Font Options Affect TestStand

Primary Software: LabWindows/CVI Development Systems>>Base Package
Primary Software Version: 7.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: TestStand

Problem:
The fonts in some of my TestStand message dialogs (like the UUT dialog) have changed but I didn't change any settings within TestStand.  What happened?

Solution:
In LabWindows/CVI you can change the Font Options for dialog boxes and message popups via registry keys, as detailed in the article Using LabWindows/CVI Localization Utility with Single/Multiple Byte Languages.  If you change these settings for the CVI Run-Time Engine this will cause all of the programs which are built in CVI to change also.

In particular, if you have changed the font settings for either the DialogFont or MessageBoxFont keys this will affect the apperance of TestStand.  Specifically the DialogFont options affect the TestUUT dialog boxes, and the MessageBoxFont keys will affect your Message Popup steps.  Therefore if you want to reset these back to normal you can edit the registry keys located in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS/CVI Run-Time Engine/cvirte/ folder.  All of the possible Font Options for CVI are listed in the CVI help file.
