What Is the VXI Trigger to RTSI Mapping for VXI-DAQ? Hardware: VXI/VME/MXI>>VXI Data Acquisition and Instrument Modules>>VXI-AO-48XDC
Problem: The VXI-MIO Series User Manual (page 3-17) states that there are seven available VXI Triggers that can be used to coordinate sampling and/or triggering across multiple modules. The manual also states that the VXIbus trigger lines are functionally equivalent to the RTSI bus trigger lines. Figure 3-10 shows the valid signals that can be used with the VXI-MIO internal signals, but what values can I use to trigger a data acquisition? Also, which VXI bus trigger maps to which RTSI line? Solution: The figure below shows which VXI bus trigger line maps to which RTSI line.
For example, on the AIStart.vi, you would set "analog chan (-) & level (0.0)" equal to 'RTSI0' and '0.00' and "trigger type" equal to 'Digital A' for a digital trigger on RTSI0, which would correspond to the VXI bus trigger 'TTL 0." ![]() Related Links: Attachments:
