Test Executive 5.1.1: Can I build a Test Executive Run-Time System that dynamically loads my Operator Interface VI?

Problem: In the LabVIEW Test Executive 5.1.1, the build process for creating the Run-Time System executable embeds the user's Operator Interface VI in the application. This behavior is different than in older versions of the Test Executive, where the Operator Interface VI was always loaded from a location outside of the executable. This location was specified in the testexec.ini file for the Run-Time System.



Solution: Attached to this KnowledgeBase entry is a new build script file that will create an executable with the old-style behavior. Place both of these files in the LVEXEC511 directory and build the script.
