Problem: Measurement & Automation (MAX) interfaces for NI-IMAQ 3.1.1 and NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 2.0 are not compatible with the cwui.ocx control that is included on the May 2005 driver CD. Typical symptoms include Acquisition Window settings reverting to (0, 0, 8, 1) and the timeout value showing 0ms. Solution: It is strongly recommended that all drivers are upgraded to the latest versions. The NI-IMAQ family of drivers can be downloaded as a package called Vision Acquisition Software. The latest version can be found in the related link section. If upgrading to the latest drivers is not possible then upgrading to NI-IMAQ for 1394 version 2.0.1 and NI-IMAQ 3.1.3 will fix the problem.
