What is the Minimum Pulse Width the 6527 Devices Can Detect For Change Notification?Hardware: Digital I/O (DIO)>>Isolated>>PCI-6527
Problem: The 6527 User Manual says that the maximum rate of change notification is limited by software response time and varies from system to system. That pertains to the maximum frequency of change notification, what about minimum pulse width my hardware can detect? Solution: The minimum pulse width that the 6527 can detect depends on the maximum turn on and turn off time of the optical coupler used on the 6527. The 6527 uses the MCT 5211 (Fairchild), which has a maximum turn on and off time of 45 uSec. Note: if a change occurs while the system is servicing another change notification, the change will be ignored. Related Links: Product Manuals: NI 6527 User Manual (August 2000) Attachments:
