Problem: When I put down the DIAdem Report Wizard Express VI and open the configuration window, all the configuration options are greyed out. If I try to do anything, I get a message that I need DIAdem 9.1 or later installed, but I already have version 9.1 (or later) installed. Why am I getting this message and how can I get my express VI to work? Solution: In order for DIAdem and LabVIEW to communicate, the DIAdem ActiveX server needs to be started and registered. This does not happen during installation. Instead, it occurs when DIAdem is actually launched for the first time (with administrative privileges). So if you've installed DIAdem but have not actually launched it, you may see the message described above. In this case, simply launching DIAdem once (with administrative privileges) will take care of the problem. Related Links: Attachments:
