Problem: Can I create virtual CAN ports and use them in LabVIEW? Solution: As of NI-CAN version 2.3.2 you can simulate 2 CAN ports directly in your code. CAN ports CAN256 and CAN257 are virtual ports that are already created when NI-CAN version 2.3.2 or above is installed. They function like a regular CAN Port and can be accessed from LabVIEW, CVI, or C. They also can communicate with each other effectively, acting as if they are cabled together.
