Using Simultaneous Sample and Hold SCXI Modules with an S Series DeviceHardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>S Series, SCXI>>Modules
Problem: Is it possible to use a simultaneous sample and hold (S/H) SCXI module (such as the SCXI-1140, 1520, 1530, or 1531) with a simultaneous sampling S Series device? Do I have to disable the sample and hold circuitry? Solution: When using an S Series device to control an SCXI Chassis with a simultaneous sample and hold module in parallel mode, NI-DAQmx will automatically disable the sample and hold circuitry of that module. If you choose to control the SCXI-1140 with an S Series device, a small offset will be introduced that cannot be removed through calibration. You can use Auto Zero Mode on the other modules to compensate for the offset.
