Why Does My Floppy Drive Light Turn On when Reading from Channel 16? Hardware: Legacy DAQ Devices>>Multifunction DAQ>>AT-MIO-64E-3
Problem: I am running NI-DAQ 4.9.0 on a Windows 95 machine. When I read from Channel 16 on the AT-MIO-64E-3, the floppy drive light turns on. Reading from other AI channels does not cause this problem. Why is the light on when I access Channel 16? Solution: In order to correct this problem, make sure that the Base I/O Address is not set to an invalid range. Change the Base I/O Address to a valid number (Hex 100 - 3E0, see AT-MIO E Series User Manual forvalid addresses) and reboot the computer.
