Problem: Do I use an IVI driver in my program any differently than I use a traditional instrument driver?

Solution: Essentially, you use an IVI driver and a traditional instrument driver the same way. The programmer’s interface to the instrument driver is essentially the same, except for the addition of an InitWithOptions function. You can set an instrument’s attributes explicitly with low-level functions, but the high-level interface is consistent with that of the traditional instrument driver.
