Using ActiveX container with Adobe Acrobat or similar programs

Problem:
I am using an ActiveX container with Adobe Acrobat or a similar program. I am getting an unknown error code or am unable to run my code. What should I do to fix this?

Solution:
In order to run a VI that uses ActiveX to call Adobe Acrobat, you must choose to execute the VI from a user interface perspective.

1. Select File»VI Properties from the pull-down menu.
2. Select the Execution category in the VI Properties dialog box.
3. Select the Preferred Execution System "User Interface".
