Problem: I have a NI 17xx smart camera and I am running Vision Builder AI 3.5 on it. It seems that once I add the Serial I/O step to my inspection, my Acquisition steps generate errors whenever I switch between the Inspection Interface and the Configuration Interface. Solution: This is a known issue with the Serial I/O step. In order to prevent this problem, we recommend that all customers upgrade to the latest software image for the NI 17xx smart camera.
