What Is the Percent for the Gain Error of My FieldPoint Module Based On?Hardware: FieldPoint
Problem: I am not sure if the gain error for Fieldpoint was calculated as a percentage of the full scale or of the reading. What is the percentage based on? Solution: The offset error is constant for a channel on a given range. However, the gain error is a constant percentage of the input. For example, the typical gain error of an FP-AI-110 on the 0 - 5.2 Volt range is 0.03%. A 2 volt input signal will thus see a typical gain error of 600 uVolts, while a 5 volt input signal would see a typical gain error of 1.5 mV. Related Links: Attachments:
