How can I use my SCC-A10 Modules with VirtualBench-Scope?Primary Software: Other NI Software>>VirtualBenchPrimary Software Version: 2.51 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: If you configure the SCC-2345 as an accessory for your Data Acquisition board and a SCC-A10 for a particular channel in the Measurement and Automation Explorer, then the NI-DAQ driver will automatically return a voltage reading on the order of +/- 100 V. This causes VirtualBench to report an over range error. Solution: In order to avoid this overrange problem, you can still have the SCC-2345 configured as an accessory in the Measurement and Automation Explorer (or the NI-DAQ Configuration Utility for earlier versions of NI-DAQ), however do not specify a particular channel as having the SCC-A10 installed. Then use the Probe Attenuation setting in the VirtualBench-Scope Channel Settings and specify a probe attenuation of 10. Your signal will now be correct. Related Links: Attachments:
