How Do I Resolve VISA Error -1073807202 (0xBFFF009E) on FieldPoint RT Controllers?

Problem:
How Do I Resolve VISA Error -1073807202 (0xBFFF009E) on FieldPoint RT Controllers?



Solution:
Make sure that NI-Serial RT is installed on the [c]FP controller. To install software on your FieldPoint controller, follow these steps:
  1. Open Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).
  2. Navigate to Remote Systems » Name of your FieldPoint Bank.
  3. Right-click on Software.
  4. Select Add/Remove Software.
  5. The following window will appear and allow you to install software on your FieldPoint RT controller.  Click once on the gray arrow and select Install the feature.
  6. Click Next » Next » Finish.  The controller will reboot automatically with the new software installed.
