Why Do My LabWindows/CVI Permissions Disappear when I Install a License File?Primary Software: Other NI Software>>NI Volume License ManagerPrimary Software Version: 2.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: 2.1.1 Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I recently upgraded my volume license agreement to include CVI 9.0.1, but when I install my new license file in NI Volume License Manager (VLM), I no longer see the user/computer permissions I had configured for CVI. If I install the older license file, I can again see my permissions. How can I install my CVI 9.0.1 license file without losing my permission settings? Solution: This problem is the result of an incompatibility with the NI VLM software in versions 2.0 or lower. If you are experiencing this problem, upgrade to the newest version of NI VLM and the permissions should persist upon installing the new licence file. You can download the NI VLM software using the link provided below.
