Missing Prototype at CheckErr or a BFFA0000 Error

Problem: When using an IVI driver I'm getting a Missing Prototype error at CheckErr error or a BFFA0000 error.

Solution: If you have the IVI Engine installed and you are getting a BFFA0000 error, then updating the IVI Engine to the latest version should resolve this error.

If you are getting a Missing Prototype error, check the line where the CheckErr message is being reported. If the function call on that line is Ivi_GetInfoFromResourceName or Ivi_GetNextCoercionString, you need to upgrade your IVI Engine.
