問題: 我在GPIB Configuration Utility (Windows NT/2000)或GPIB Properties (Windows 95/98/ME)中指定了終止字元。NI-488.2驅動程式會不會在指令末端自動新增這個GPIB終止字元?
解答: 沒有，你必須在指令末端手動新增GPIB終止字元。例如，你使用IBIC去和一台GPIB介面的儀器通訊，並設置換行字元為結尾字元（End of String (EOS) character），此時你發送*IDN?是無效的，但是發送*IDN?\x0A就可以。（“\x0A”是換行字元的16進位表示法 ）
注意：LabVIEW允許使用\n”作為換行字元，但是使用者必須將字串控制元件的顯示方式切換到"\" Codes Display。
